Literary Events in November

With everything that is going on in the world right now, many literary festival and events have been moved online. This is a list of just a few of the online literary events this November for you to enjoy!

Stroud Book Festival – 4th – 8th November

This festival features Cath Kidston, Kei Miller and Joanna Trollope. Topics up for discussion include climate change and anti-racism, and there are workshops for children too. All events are free!

Cambridge Literary Winter Festival – 19th – 29th November

More than 40 events, all online, with many free events for children. See talks from Matt Haig, Pragya Agarwal, and Daisy Johnson.

Stratford Literary Festival Winter Weekend – 20th – 22nd November

An online weekend of talks including Dame Hilary Mantel, Roger McGough, and Lemn Sissay. The events are available online for several days so that you can catch up if needed.

Whilst this is certainly a challenging time for everyone, hopefully, the opportunity to attend some online literary events that might usually be too far away for you will offer a small moment of joy.
