Welcome to Sylvia; I’m so excited to share this with you today. Sylvia is a literary space for us all. I believe that literature helps us to make sense of the world around us and, at this moment in history, this feels more relevant than ever.
Today, we launch with several brilliant poems. Over the coming weeks, you will find stories, flash fiction, and the occasional piece of lifestyle here. Three times a week, we’ll publish something that I hope will give you pause, hold you close, or bring joy (sometimes even a combination of all three!).
I’ve called this a ‘magazine’ for want of a better word, although you probably won’t be able to hold a printed copy of it in your hand any time soon. There will be some monthly elements, like a magazine, too. I will write you these letters and most of the content will be released on a monthly basis. At the moment, there aren’t going to be ‘themes’ or ‘issues’, but that is something else that might change in time. Our natural rhythm will be taken from the seasons and the things happening around us.
